When you are thousand miles(thousand ke?) away from home, even littlest tiny things can end up as big issues.

Seperti :

1) Couldn't accept the fact that, tiada Gardenia di bumi kenyalang ini. Nak juga Gardenia!

Padahal ada banyak je home-made bread dekat bakery.Pilih ja yang mana idaman kalbu.

2) There are no Seri Muka yang sedap, Karipap yang sedap, Satay yang sedap. Takde seleralah nak berbuka macam ni.
Padahal bila di KL or UTP, sama juga.Still, kau melahap bagai nak gila Ern.

3) Baru third day puasa, hypermarket ni dah pasang lagu raya? Apehal wehhh :(

Padahal biasa lah tu, memang orang pasang lagu raya di bulan puasa. Takkan nak pasang masa Christmas Eve.

4) Kenapa CLEO mahal gila rm8? Kalau dekat KL rm5.60. Ish

Padahal, bukan selalu beli pun. Pinjam baca orang punya je selalu. Apa masalah kau Ern??

So many things happened within a month.
So many decisions have been made, discovered so many things about myself and other people.On top of that, I had the chance to embraced myself with the beauty of Jakarta&Bandung.

Despite all of these, the most exiting thing I am looking forward to is the next big project for Virtuoso in Tapestry of Colours. A concert in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas. This is what I have been waiting my whole life & I would never want to miss it before entering the working world soon.

Some people just don't get it.

I live in HULU LANGAT,CHERAS. (try googlemap it and you will find nothing but pokok pokok and one long road).
I have no car on my own. It is very difficult for me to move around, unlike you.
To get to the nearest train station, I need to exit the Cheras-Kajang highway, pay rm1 for the toll, enter another highway, and ta-raaa! Bandar Tasik Selatan station.
My life fully rely (100% ) on my rm500/month Petronas allowances. And because of this, I don't shop much like you guys.
I pay my own phone bills & broadband bills with that allowance as well. So now do you understand when I say I am short of cash to hang out, means I REALLY don't have $$ ?

So, I am happy to see everyone is enjoying their life to the fullest, having all the access to do anything, anytime without hesitation. you can lepak, makan , minum, shop wherever you want. you have the FREEDOM.

And if you think you are at the lowest point in your life, or if you think you own the most miserable life compared to others, obviously you are wrong dear. There are people who apparently live their life the hard way, harder than your's, you couldn't even imagine the pain and how they struggle to survive.You don't have to see this on National Geographic or elsewhere, just look around, buka mata.

Growing up with four little sisters is not an easy thing.There were times where I swore, I would never want any daughters in future, I rather have all sons.A respectful salute to mama & papa for doing such a wonderful job.

Antara perkara/situations encounter when you have 85% (6/7) ladies in your house :

1) Bila bercakap- bebel, marah- bebel, suka-bebel, annoyed-bebel, tengah masak- bebel

2) Brothers ( setahu saya ) kalau bergaduh, akan bertumbuk dengan senyap. Sisters ( saya punya lah) membebel dulu ( plus with some annoying bitchy statements ) ,gaduh mulut, blablabla...masuk bilik, hempas pintu.

3) Baju kurung berlambak2. especially kalau semua sama size. Since we are all girls, auntie2 akan aim kami kalau mereka nak get rid of their baju kurungs.

4) That leads me to the next point - each of us perlu kan few almari yang BESAR.papa, please?

5) Perception orang selalunya

" Eh eh, untung lah Ira (mama) ada ramai anak dara, dah besar besar semua. boleh tolong tolong kat rumah "

Yes memang one of the advantage ada daughters yang ramai, kerja2 rumah akan di divide and ikut rotation ( eg sorang basuh pinggan, kemas rumah, basuh baju + lipat baju , angkat baju + lipat baju etc) tapi kami bangun 1 pm ke atas semua. Tak guna divide task kan? Yes ini adalah confession, sila jangan meminang any of us.

6) Tiada orang akan teman papa tengok bola, basuh kereta & midnight teh tarik session. Kami selalu akan busy dengan agenda (perempuan) masing2.

7) Syampoo and pads are the most important (critical) things yang diperlukan setiap bulan. Sebab banyak songeh and requirements, mama akan beli yang general semua boleh pakai (eg Syampoo Pantene Complete for All types of Hair )

8) TAPI, eventhough we are all girls, we still help around untuk kerja2 berat & ganas seperti cat satu rumah, panjat atap betulkan aerial tv, cangkul rumput2 mati, angkat furniture, panjat memanjat untuk mengambil barang.

9) Almost all the time, we feel awkward with men in the house except for papa. Bila ada lelaki( tak kira usia), selalunya semua akan disperse masuk dalam bilik masing2 or any part of the house. malu agak nya.

10) 'Gossip session'.yeah we gossip a lot, all the time. :D dengan mama2 sekali.YEAH. bukan mengumpat ye. Since semua perempuan, topic perbualan selalunya, masalah2 dengan kaum lelaki.Mama adalah kaunselor terbaik, segala yang kami inform personally dia akan simpan as P&C.

p/s : the two girls and a boy who look like mat salleh, they're my beloved very very close cousins :D

p/s/s : Though its not an easy thing, I am most grateful for having them. I would never want to exchange them with brothers.:D :D

Guess what? I had my last paper yesterday in Chanselor Hall! my FREAKING last paper, as in my Final Last paper people!

Alahai, saya sedih + happy + ngantuk + barai and semestinya mahu Salmah Dance(tapi tiada geng). Only god knows what the future holds.

One thing for sure, I'll be far away from everything, as usual.Hopefully I am strong enough for that. Meanwhile, half- MERDEKA !! ( sebab tak habis FYP presentation lagi )

My mid semester break ended too fast for me. It was not even a holiday break, just an extra of two days off.Thanks to the two tests I had just now.
Though it was not the best holiday ever, I managed to go for an outing session at the zoo.

Night Safari in Zoo Taiping! Aha! =)

It was a fun trip : The sunset was freaking gorgeous, the magga i bought at Bukit Gantang R&R was super sweet, we had the best Mee Udang ever! , the animals were amazing, and we witnessed two shooting stars after one another that night!

Cultural Anthropology is definitely one of my favorite subject this semester. Two hours of class felt like few minutes. Here are some info that I managed to inhaled and would like to share, =) :

1) In French, the word 'race' is prohibited, they use 'ethnic' instead.
2) An Indian classical dancer is neither a man nor a woman while dancing.
3) Nepal high court approved same sex marriage recently ( i think it was last year). Bare in mind that Nepal is among the poorest and least developed countries in the world, with almost one-third of its population living below the poverty line.
4) When a white married a black, the son/daughter becomes a black.
5) Okay this is something I never knew. Tiger Wood's mom is a Thai.

I was at my favourite hypermarket -> Tesco yesterday. I was wearing this new skinny i bought light grey in colour ( mind you i believe light colours make your bottom part look wider ). 1. Rushing. Reached home friday night, and then the next thing I realized 'eh besok raya?'

2. Shidah tak beri duit raya (although she supposed to, sudah kerja!), but she brought us to mcd on malam raya and treated us with sundae and mcflurry.weeeee.....

3. Bangun lambat on pagi raya is a routine.

4. Ultimate stress I had the week before raya + the keserabutan sleeping hours + monthly period = three unavoided pimples on pagi raya.

5. There were 7 girls in the house, took us 3hours to get ready.Eventually, we reached atok's house (in shah alam) damn late.

6. Driving 6 hours straight to alor star after that was bloody tiring. Lagi2 with a manual car.

7. Akhirnya, dapat juga beraya with the girls yang dicintai di alor star-> Jare and Anny. Plus, A'an with his brother and his cousin.

8. And because of them, I went back home very very late dan membuat atok tidak tidur kerana menunggu saya.

9. The second and third day of raya were erda's and adam's birthday!

10. I miss my dearie pes who spent his raya in Kelantan.

Oh can I add another important point?

Everybody has their own life-history. I have mine too. But its too pathetic and painful as I always tried not to think or mention about it.

My life started to change when im 14. I mixed with the wrong bunch of people and my life turned upside down. A fucked-up one.My parents were my no.1 enemy. At one point, I was so curious and eager to taste the 'fun of life' and I hate myself for being such a terrible daughter. I was completely engrossed by all those stupid and disgrace things I thought were cool back then.Being a typical youngster, I couldnt think the rasionality of my behaviour and blamed others. Seriously, if I could turn back time , I would go back and give a nice slap to 15 years old Ernie.

Thank god, I found few amazing people when I turned 16 and they changed my perspective of life indirectly.

Why am I posting this? Because Im sad. I am sad watching all these young girls trying so hard to fit in. They do things without realizing they are jeopardizing their own future. I wish I could just confront and tell them that I UNDERSTAND.

People always thought, oh ern baek, ern xbuat tu,ern xbuat ni, ern xsalu club, ern xdrink, ern xsmoke, ern is such a naif girl. ern xslalu kua malam..haha.I can just laugh to myself. And because of this, people always thought Im the judgemental type and I dont understand whereas I know things way wayyyyyy better.Its funny when people tried to sneak to do stuff in front of me , aku senyum je.

I am now a completly new-born Ernie. I am ultimately happy with my life at the moment. I am over this curious-stage of life YEARS ago which most of the people around me are having right now. I had enough and biarlah saye jadi si naif. I considered all these as part of learning in life, and I have learnt my lesson.

I had this weird dream last night..

I went back to my old school, with pes and maybe maria ( haha, i think its you).At that time, there was a function going on, as there were a lot of people wearing casual (mungkin Hari Kantin or Open Day, ambik report card). Then, I went up the escalator ( yes, mmg sah mimpi) and I heard someone singing and people were cheering crazily. Suddenly, I heard the intro part of Umbrella song...and to my suprise, when I looked at the stage, I saw Jay-Z yawwww singging the rap part of Umbrella.

" No clouds in my storms, Let it rain, I hydroplane in the bank....eh eh"

And suddenly Rihanna appeared! its was freakin real rihanna, but with longer hair ( just like mine, hehe) . She started singing

By the time she reached the chorus part, I started to feel really annoyed with her performance.gedik gile lah...and suddenly people started to boo-ing her as well. haha.padan muke....I only remembered up until that part jer,peace!

I spent my saturday night last weekend at my dearest, nadya's house. She planned a poker-night and we were expecting our friends later that night. By 12am, there were only me,nad,pes, helmi & fareez (biasela org melayu punye janji) so we played RACE for I dont know how many runs while waiting. Around 1.30am Farhan showed up, followed by wan askar,rafiq, & syafiq. So we started playing poker..and trust me, that was my first time!! I am soo noobs until farhan had to sketched a poker bible for me...

So everytime I get my cards, I'll check one by one to see wether I should go on or just fold. ( I sensed my kelembapan annoyed everyone, haha). I have no luck almost all the time that night, though I think I almost win once.We stopped playing at 4.30am because helmi needs to go back to nilai and go to work by 7.30am at putrajaya and fareez has a grad rehearsal that morning as well.

I am looking forward for the next poker-night although saye sgt sux in this game.thank you.

yeah.they sent me to Kemaman Supply Base for 2weeks++.Thank you, I really need a break from KL,LRTs, air-pollution and etc.

This is my second time in Kemaman actually (first time tu lalu jer sbb nak pegi kota bharu) , and its not THAT bad. I really had fun in KSB and bandar Chukai.Weheeeeeeee. Train problem again

oh today I reached bndr tsk seltn station damn early..7 am! but tidak disangke2 all STAR trains to kl stuck at Chan Sow Lin station.so just imagine, ALL peeps (berjuta juta lemon)heading to KL this morning stranded there.little tiny small station.Then i called iylia and we both decided to take rapid bus to klcc from maluri.So yeah,klua awal from umh pon sampai ofis 8.30am.same jer.saye mahu kerete with a driver. =[

1) how do we know how much bend, turn,degree we want the well to be?

2) how does the software calculate geological target to drilling target?

3) well designed will not be always vertical, it will turn,drop and build. so the casing should be
flexible right?

4) When we make a nudge plans,what are we nudging actually?is it the conductor or the casing
or both?

5) Im so so confuse with the placement of the wellhead(conductor), is it at the mud line or
platform?

6) If we dont have any hole&casing datas from the client, what should we do to decrease the
position uncertainty?

This morning i was really reaaaaalllyyy late.I leaved the house as usual at 6.50(yeah its a.m) and then stuck in this super massive jam in front of Plaza Phoenix on my way to Bandar Tasik
Selatan station.Then i took STAR straight to Masjid Jamek at 7.40 am.When i reached Masjid
Jamek, i had to walk down through the tunnel(which took me about 5 mins) to Putra lrt
pulak.Lepas tu I had to wait in a longgggg queue.benci gilee.Finally, i got into the train at 8.10. I was soo stressed up in the train,how I wish this train would go faster. suddenly, jeng-jeng... I
saw this one advert on the wall of the train

" Chicken Rice is now available in KFC"

Family Gathering 2008

So as usual,there will be a family gathering session at the end of the year. Pak su Boy and his wife ( the party planner) chose ISI Rimba, in order for the rest of the family to gather,relax, gossiping,eating, and do some other activities mainly to tighten the bonds among the family members.specially family member like me! (xknal name sedare sendiri ,knal muke je)

Macam biase 'pot luck' tradision, can bring anything we want but wajib each family bring one ekor ayam, 1 kilo ikan (for bbq) and 2 bottles of minerel water.

Today,we(9 of us) went to great eastern mall,henry the bos blanje.Sort of like a 'farewell' lunch for Syaz (this month is the last month of her internship).makan mcm org gila sepulo hari kebulor.huhu.Thana ( my sv) told us some stupid jokes along the way.Plus henry & jason punye lame jokes.it was fun. Then we went back.

Just about to continue with my work suddenly org finance panggil.so we went down to level 12th (im in level 25,so have to change lift n everything)

Kak finance : "dek tolong wat filing ek,niiiiiiiiiiiiii sume invoice,u just need to suson2 n masok dlm file"

Syaz : "sume ni ke kak?"

Kak finance : "yup,ala senang jer"

Ern : "damn you,kalo senang knape ko xbuat sendiri!! " (dalam hati)

Ern : " We are interns,not your kuli batak,dah la department laen.SV aku pon tak suro buat all this un-related work" (dalam hati lagi)

So dgn terpinge2 we all pon start sort the invoice,bills and claim forms in alphabetical order. A LOT. A LOOOOOT of them.Thousands of them!!!
